. @WI_Elections, which will oversee Tuesday's election, is holding an emergency meeting tonight to talk about today's decision that found balloting will go forward -- but with some new rules because of the coronavirus outbreak.
The Elections Commission is in closed session now, but just before they closed the meeting the commission's chairman, @deanknudson, raised serious concerns about one aspect of Judge William Conley's decision.
Conley ruled in-person voting will be conducted as scheduled on Tuesday, but clerks must count absentee ballots that arrive up until April 13.
The absentee ballots must be requested by Friday, but can be cast after election day, provided they arrive to clerks by April 13.

"This is a mess," Knudson said. "We're going to have to talk about whether we pursue more legal action" or come up with other ways to deal with it.
He didn't explain his concerns beyond that because the commission immediately went into closed session.

It will return to open session later, where he very well could spell out his thoughts.
It could be an hour or more before the commission returns to open session, so check back to this thread later.
Obviously, one likely concern would be that people would know initial results if they start to be reported on Tuesday and then decide after election day whether to cast their ballot.

Lots of unknowns here, though -- such as whether results will be reported on Tuesday as usual.
