non-blacks can use aave (girl even pidgin) in the wrong context and literally re-inscribe meaning, bc their grammatical context is the one that is esteemed— which is a grammatical context that keeps civil society intact.
Basically, language is subjective. We understand what different words mean based on the context, or I guess realities surrounding it. The grammars that dominate society privilege the contexts / realities of those with subject positionings
violence against the flesh that places the black outside of subject positioning, allows black cultural productions to b stripped of meaning, while privileging grammatical contexts of the subject. the subject can now inject its own meaning bc those productions r now for the captor
Anyways, y’all sound stupid using the word “simp” so now I’m going back to calling men bitches
