Okay, so here's some background on what I wanted this pitch to be, how it evolved, and why I wrote it. The original idea was to follow a similar path (Heh) to the original but I mulled it over and thought about the path of redemption and how that could be worked with in terms of Karone's ongoing desire for redemption and if she can have it, why can't the Psychos? - 2/9

The Psychos are just as much victims of Astronema as Karone was of Darkonda so they should all deserve a shot to face-turn, right? But that would mean we'd have to know who the Psychos were before they were Psychos and that naturally led me to Psycho Green. - 3/9

We all like a Ranger who goes dark and, in a time when Green's still/stranded buried on the moon, I can see Astronema using similar methods to make more Psycho Rangers. So they'd have to be fallen Rangers, but I wanted them not to be snivelling backstabbers... - 4/9

But Rangers who fell in the line of duty and were corrupted like Karone was. So who would be the Rangers?

The New Powers. A dumb and lazy bit of SMF canon that I can use to justify why they've never been seen/heard of and not make a bunch of OC Donut Steels. - 5/9

I kept elements that I felt worked from the original The Psycho Path story and reworked them into something that I feel I would have enjoyed a bit more. Expanding on the Trial of Astronema was a big one, an amazing one-shot story that I really wanted to work in. 6/9

Psycho Green's ambition and cunning on display, Karone's struggle to reconcile her past, the Neji crew's new lease on life (if Kendrix can come back from the dead, why can't the Psychos? The Morphin Grid is neutral AF) & Karone facing her past for her own sake, not another's. 7/9

Obviously, there's scenes I could expand on but it was already running long so I cut A LOT of dialogue (I like to write dialogue, it's a burden) and character interactions but I'd kinda hope that each issue would focus on Karone and a revived Psycho. 8/9

And I think that's about it. There's obviously the cliffhanger but that can be addressed another time but that's another thing I really want to see done in the comics. I hope those who bothered to read my Psycho Path rewrite enjoyed it and thanks for reading this thread! 9/9
