Ever realize the work you’re doing is actually connecting with people and making an impact? An insanely good feeling. There’s a lot of people working together to help spread the word of COVID-19 at WVU and how we can be safe and it’s just so good to have people you can rely on
Our website http://coronavirus.wvu.edu"> http://coronavirus.wvu.edu  was developed quickly through our insane web team @SK_5 @danEdmonds with @WendyHoldren and @TaraScatterday providing updates AROUND THE CLOCK. It& #39;s an insanely large resource site full fo everything.
Our social team is rocking it. @morganrgoff took a nonexistent @WVUSafety account and has taken it to be a major resource for COVID-19 resources. @GFCoyle has helped me out with some video shoots and even corralled a bunch of celebs to record a super cool video of Country Roads.
. @DOBIEST has coordinated the whole team to pitch in - @Carvelli3 has stepped up greatly. @justmesoulo just joined our team a few months ago and is helping students adjust to their new schedules. @KallieNealis is keeping employees informed and updated and engaged!
The vlogging Scotsman @CJY4 is on-hand for creative, including producing today& #39;s somber "we miss you" piece as well as being on-hand to go take some photos at the drop of a hat
Nobody can come to campus, but thats okay - @RickieRoseWVU is making it seamless with her admissions folks and team to turn an in-person event into a virtual experience. Unicorn filter on her camera to be confirmed
My guy Graham Curry is rocking it helping us make incredible animations used in statewide PSAs and across social! Look at these people, moving 6 feet apart! More coming very soon for everyone to use and stay safe!
Even @wheresmylipstck has been putting up with my constant calls asking for help as I learn Adobe Illustrator! Her patience is extremely undervalued and she deserves a big raise for not hanging up on me alone
And who can forget @claymarsh, our very own Vice President and statewide czar? Working with Clay has always been a rewarding experience, as he really cares about the health of West Virginians. His role as czar is not an empty title, he will genuinely do all he can to keep us safe
Just had a momentary burst of inspiration to show how grateful I am to work with so many good people during incidents like this. I know, selfish of me to turn this tragedy into something about me, or us. But I had to focus on how we& #39;re all helping, in some way, to adjust
The only downside is @SharonMartinWVU set a morning video call for 8:30! And I can& #39;t blame traffic for being late to the meeting! But otherwise, feeling very work-assured in uncertain times. We& #39;re doing all we can to adjust, and I had to shout it.
Here’s Graham’s socially distant graphic! Look at them being distant and safe!
