It’s sooooo draining to have people assume that people who aren’t fighting cancer are not battling as hard as those who are and this is a misconception that really hurts sick people.
While I’m so grateful that cancer is getting the awareness that it needs, I am also aware of how invisible this can make individuals battling something else. I’m here for you and I see your fight.
Erase the stigma, and stop with the notion that only some people are survivors. Keep donating to family reach because kids with cancer deserve and need help, but don’t forget those that fight without ANY support every single day.

There needs to be more services for children and adults battling invisible, chronic or mental illness. Anyways. I hope this thread wasn’t seen as bashing that charity, because that charity is vital. It is just a reminder to folks to be kind and thoughtful
We’re all going through shit, some harder than others, and we all deserve help, both emotional and financial when we are struggling. I want to find a charity that supports kids with all sorts of illnesses, so if u know one, HMU!!
