One day, we will look back and understand what we did right.

What we did wrong.

We will mourn those who sacrificed. Those whom we lost to #COVID19.

And most of all, we will celebrate surviving.

One day, we will rebuild our world — post- #COVID19.

#WeGotThis #OntarioStrong.
Right now, you’re scared.

But cancer, heart failure, kidney failure, broken bones, end-of-life care, dementia, rheumatoid arthritis, strokes — none of that stops for #COVID19.

So, thank you to the psychiatrist caring for my 18 year old patient who is complex & suicidal.
Thank you to the physiatrist caring for my 60 year old patient with a stroke.

Thank you to the thoracic surgeon caring for my 36 year old patient with esophageal cancer.

None of this stops for #COVID19.

Thank you to the obstetrician seeing my patient who is nearly ready to deliver her first baby.

Thank you to the first-responders who carried my delirious bed-bound patient to the ER.

Thank you to the pharmacists who help monitor patient safety.

None of this stops for #COVID19.
Thank you to those who are directly caring for patients with #COVID19 on the wards, ICUs, ERs and in their clinics.

Thank you to the countless others who are holding this healthcare system together in the meantime because one day, the #COVID19Pandemic will be over.
Thank you to my patients who texted me, asking me how I was and if they could do anything for me.

Thank you to the people of Halton Hills, Milton & Oakville, to Mayors @RickBonnette1, Krantz and Burton & @HaltonHlthcare for donating masks, gloves & sewing gowns to keep us safe.
Thank you to all the doctors, nurses, PSWs, RTs, EMS, secretaries, cooks, pharmacists, and housekeeping staff for showing up to work during the #COVID19Pandemic.
