Seven Stages of grief, Covid-19 edition. Thread.
Shock and Disbelief:

Wow! Did you see how many people died in Italy and China? How about the state of their hospitals? Crazy.
Denial:

Psh. It’s just the flu. Corona with a lime anyone? Lol!
Guilt:

I didn’t need to buy a pallet of toilet paper.
Anger and Bargaining:

China is to blame! Stupid commies. Eating vitamins will keep me safe from Corona.
Depression, Loneliness, Reflection:

I just finished counting every blades of grass in my yard. I miss my friends. I don’t want to die. I don’t want people to die. Why get up if I can't do anything?
Reconstruction and Working Through:

I’m going to shower every day, get dressed and try to accomplish some tasks every day. I’ll call my family and friends regularly.
Acceptance & Hope:

30 more days in isolation happens one day at a time. God is in control. It’s hard but we can do this, America.
