When I turned 16, my mom& #39;s big gift for me was a set of antique Sherlock Holmes books. I was a big Sherlockian but I also was 16 so ended up...disappointed

I just realized, though, that the only childhood gift I still have are those books

(ok, I also have a pipe my brother got me for Christmas because it looked like a Sherlock Holmes pipe)

(ok ok I also also still have the record frames my siblings got me to hold my vinyl when I went to college)

but STILL

(oh, and I still have a giant book on Superman. but really, that& #39;s like it!)
