i know this sounds weird because ppl are like - "i don't like opera", which is like - fine, you know, because it's a relatively specific art form. it's much stranger to hear someone say "i don't like music" (even though that's valid) because it's so general.
so like, i get that i sound weird when i say i don't really like watching movies or shows, especially in a time when bingewatching is the general norm. it's like, but there's SO MUCH OF IT teesta. what do you mean you just don't like watching people move on a screen?
like - do i have movies and shows that i dearly love? absolutely. do i like watching cooking vids? my lifeblood. but - watching movies and shows is not a stable or regular part of my life, and for me it's as much effort as it would be to plan a long hiking trip.
i only watch BTS episodes when one of my friends positively thrusts it in my face like "YOU WILL LOVE THIS, JUST GRIT YOUR TEETH AND WATCH". watching two episodes of something in a row drains me as much as writing a ten-page report would. like...i just don't do that!!!
idk why i tweeted this thread which is very specifically useless and doesn't bring anything enlightening on ur tline. but i just wanted to express myself
