This young stellar grouping is only a few million years away and resides in the 30 Doradus Nebula, a turbulent star-birth region in the Large Magellanic Cloud, a satellite galaxy of our Milky Way

This image was taken through a red filter captures Pluto and three of his satellites. The largest object in this image is Pluto and the second largest is Charon.
#RUKI: ๐ƒ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐›๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐๐ž๐›๐ฎ๐ฅ๐š
Known as a planetary nebula, it is the result of an old star that has shed its outer layers in a glowing display of color. It was the first planetary nebula ever discovered.

The graceful, winding arms of the majestic spiral galaxy M51 appear like a grand spiral staircase sweeping through space. They are actually long lanes of stars and gas laced with dust.

This cluster of stars is located 8K light-years away in a huge star-forming region: the Carina Nebula. The cluster is only 500K years old &has one of the highest concentrations of bright, massive stars in the entire Milky Way.
his field of galaxies is just a small part of a cosmic tapestry Hubble imaged as part of the All-wavelength Extended Groth Strip International Survey. In it are galaxies of all shapes, sizes, colors, and distances.
#SYOYA: ๐†๐š๐ฅ๐š๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐œ ๐‚๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ซ
This infrared image of the center of our Milky Way galaxy reveals a population of massive stars and complex structures in the hot ionized gas that swirls around the galactic core.

The giant elliptical galaxy in the center of this image is the most massive &brightest member of galaxy cluster Abell 2261. More than a million light-years wide, the galaxy is about 10 times bigger than our Milky Way galaxy
These colorful stars reside at the โ™ฅ๏ธof Milky Way galaxy, about 26K light-years from ๐ŸŒ.Red-giant stars coexist w/ more younger cousins, the smaller, white, sun-like stars, in this crowded region of our galaxyโ€™s central hub

The arms of the "grand design" spiral galaxy M81 are filled with young, bluish, hot stars. The greenish regions in the image are bright, gaseous clouds where new stars are forming.

This pic captures a small region in the Swan Nebula,a hotbed of star formation. The wave-like patterns of gas have been sculpted & illuminated by a torrent of ultraviolet radiation from young, massive stars, which lie outside the pic to the upper left

The dust lanes& star clusters of this giant elliptical galaxy, known as Fornax A, give evidence that the galaxy formed from a past merger of 2 gas-rich galaxies. Its also one of the strongest sources of radio emission in the sky
