Today’s #CollageBeforeModernism photo is a detail from an anon. album known as the Grove Family Album, in the collections of the Huntington Library. It mixes pasted in photographs of family members, friends & houses with engravings of fine art, as well as hand drawn details.

So much to love about this: the girl’s expression; the careful drawings; its unfinished nature. Delicious.
