The latest video of Sandy Munro Model Y tear down reveals new details!
Even though some may consider as minute details but IMO are important for the longevity of the car and a testimony to Tesla’s one of a kind engineering
/thread..

- Flexible Corrugated wrap over all 12 volt wires for increased saftey and minimizing risk of shortening (no automaker bothers to do such stuff as its considered overkill, time consuming and expensive

- Quick connects: much much better than normal connectors and will never leak (others option for cheaper connectors such as screw fittings as quick connects are much more expensive and reliable)

- beefier brakes calipers than the one used for the M3

- Gigantic aluminum casting and less parts at the back end (best part is no part)
Sandy wasn’t happy with the back end of the M3 as it had many parts but was surprised by what he found and said that he was honored that Tesla listened to his suggestions!
