So I was tested positive Covid-19 despite not having any contact with positive patients or traveling history. I’m planning to share everything related to symptoms and experiences from the test up to being quarantine currently at hospital.

Semalam lebih kurang jam 1.30pm, saya dapat phone call from PKD Petaling mengenai keputusan Covid19. Boleh kata memang tgh tunggu diorg call pun. On Saturday night, my husband bawa I ke Sunmed, niat asalnya nak warded tapi sebab ada simptom batuk dan demam, kena pergi ke khemah

saringan. Keadaan masa itu agak teruk sbb dah 2 hari muntah2, demam dan batuk dah seminggu. Simptom yg dialami adalah: loss sense of smell and taste, demam, dry cough, headache, muntah, susah bernafas, cirit birit (yg ni recent 3 days). I guess masa hilang bau tu I dh ada hunch

Ada hunch because the situation was weird, but I just brush the thoughts off. Kenapa pelik? Sebab, dry cough mcm mana boleh nose mcm tersumbat, and nose tu pun rasa kering. Sampai sometimes I actually masukkan air sbb too dry! Oh sore throat pun salah satu simptom I.

Hilang deria bau/rasa agak lama, almost a week. Now all better. Simptom lain pun dah berkurang, just sometimes still rasa sore throat, batuk and cirit birit. 4 nights ago, I was unable to sleep, sbb x boleh bernafas. It was in the morning I talked to my husband utk push sunmed

for the covid result. We were promised 24hrs result, means ahad I ptt dapat phone call. But there were none so we called them. We tried daily until Wednesday, but dapat jawapan sama je: wait 24-48hours after test, which is stupid sebab dah more than that. So hari Rabu tu, Hakim

my husband, called dengan niat utk tekan sunmed, and I told my friend, who was previously working with sunmed, bcs we were pissed. Mahal ok bayar RM1,200 tapi answers from them daily sgt menyakitkan hati. So we were informed that my result were inconclusive, and the test had to

be given to govt’s lab for further/2nd test. mungkin sbb campur tangan Hakim dlm memarahi sunmed dan pkd, also my friend actually reported to the director (created a stir within management) the doctor at sunmed informed us that they will push pkd to expedite my test.

Pkd: Pejabat Kesihatan Daerah, also informed us that they’re having a backlog, byk sgt tests they need to process. Doctor at sunmed also assured my husband that maybe I bkn salah sorg positive sbb xde history and my symptoms dah reduced. Alhamdulillah dpt test the next day, which

is Thursday, 2 April. Jeng jeng jeng. Time Dr call, tergamam. The feelings a bit similar masa we were informed doctors couldn’t anything dah for arwah mama. Tergamam, terkejut, blur, confused, took awhile to actually have all sorts of questions, panicking. But the Dr was super

nice and helpful. I remembered feeling calm at first masa dia sampaikan the news, see the similarity masa dpt bad news? Sama. Memula calm, dgr all the info dia nak bagi, tanya sikit2 tu pun gagap, sbb shocked. Walaupun I had few hunches, I was still not ready. Who can guess?

Sunmed/PKD was probably chill pun sbb I had no history whatsoever with travelling or in close contact with positive patients before. Pissed me off sbb few days tu patut boleh tau awal. And dah almost 2 weeks berjalan dalam rumah as positive patient rupanya. I have no clue how or

where I got it from. Part of me was still in denial, tp bila I dgr jiran katil I dkt ward ni pun both loss sense of taste and cirit birit pun salah satu simptom, dh boleh la terima sikit2. Okay, pengalaman selepas terima call pulak, sambung later, nak solat subuh.

A lot of DMs and whatsapp I received from my friends & family all tanya, dapat dari mana. Honestly I really have no clue. My guess would be from work. Sbb 19 March start rasa hilang bau tu. So it could be sebelum tu lah. I felt horrible especially towards my family yg ada close

contact with me. Especially my sister bcs dia ada baby. It killed me inside yesterday and still rasa bersalah gila until now. She had to be separated from her baby and my dad is old Please help me prayyyyy they are not infected. So far all xde show symptoms huhu

Ok dh siap repair my thread So I’m gonna also share list of things to bring and what to do next once positive. Bila dah sampai hospital baruuu laaa terfikir apa yg patut bawak etc. yang paling penting: bekas air! I didn’t know, so sedih sikit xde air sendiri.

People close to me would know that I’m crazy with hand sanitizer and wet wipes. Selalu ada je dalam bag. But I also have habits of touching my eyes and face. Funny sbb kdg2 terdetik that I shouldn’t touch those area time2 macam ni. But dah takdir kan. What to do

List of things to bring:
Bekas air (ni bkn swasta dpt jug air setiap katil ye)
Cawan if nak.
Sejadah (I lupa ni )
Telekung
Vit C and ubat sendiri if ada
Baju x perlu except yg pakai pergi dan balik.
Dalam2 tu perlu la ye.
Face mask (if xde boleh mintak but sehari dpt 1 je)

Hand sanitizer (walaupun dh positive covid, i bwk jgk) wet wipes, tissue (penting! Nk lap mulut ke tangan ke sbb xde prepare),
toiletries (again, bkn swasta ye bg free pouch with toiletries so pls bring)
Benda lain2 decide sendiri semua2 ni yg bg I asas la.

Here are my timeline:
19 march start demam, dry cough, nose kering and blocked terus walaupun xde phlegm
- lasted for few days, but body temp tu on off. Yg consistent is dry cough, hilang deria bau, tekak dan hidung kering rasa kering. Mostly demam i mcm sekejap je few hours.

24-25 march- terus ok, just batuk sikit2
26-28 march- start blk demam teruk, pening kepala, batuk, flu, muntah2
28 march mlm pergi hospital
29 march demam ok, dah xde, just batuk.
30 march mlm xleh tidur sbb ssh nafas, bhgn dada rasa mcm blocked with phlegm. Demam xde, batuk je

Start 31 March tmbh lg satu other than batuk, which is cirit birit. To bkn berterusan, just kdg2 and until now.
Then until now, demam xde dh, just batuk kdg2 and rasa tekak and hidung kering.
My daily meds routine: antibiotic-ni yg clinic prescribe so skejap je.
Paracetamol 3kali

Ubat batuk yg Bena Expactorant tu. Mcm2 colour i cuba. Bila yg dry cough, I drank the blue one, hari yg teruk tu i drank the maroon/orange colour. Prospan pun ada few times. Flu meds Clarinase, vit c, warm water with lemon and honey (ni few times je mostly masa teruk)
