We're seeing POC, especially Black and Native folks, disproportionately endangered by law enforcement and the healthcare system during all of this because "all of this" is a massive magnification of systems that already actively do so
Poverty is a force multiplier. Black, Native, brown folks are disproportionately impoverished. Prisons and camps are ticking time bombs, and the same folks are disproportionately incarcerated
Study after study indicates that Black folks, especially Black women, are failed disproportionately by non-Black healthcare professionals. These are systemic issues not brought to the light, but magnified
A slow or inadequate response to this pandemic means that more of those folks will become ill, lose their income, be evicted, than others. Already-vulnerable folks will be and are being hit the hardest because we let these systems exist
Trump's approval rating continues to go up because the people impacted the most are people who "deserve it" in some way; these are folks who mainstream society has deemed disposable since forever at this point, including white older and disabled folks
Majoritized folks can make themselves okay with the death of a distant cousin as long as it's killing mostly the "right" people
