Things all stans need to realize: a thread

If you're outside a fandom your only knowledge of that fandom comes through its interactions from a fandom you're actually in. Here's what that means:

given that its (1) kpop (2) the internet your interactions with an outside fandom will be predominately NEGATIVE. it sucks but the most likely reason for someone not a fan of your group to be talking about your group is because (1) your group fcked up (2) fanwars

Given that you spend most of your time in your fan space (presumably) you miss 90% of the shit-talking your own fandom does about a rival group. This creates a distorted reality where your fandom looks "good" to you because you see a mix of positive and negative posts while +

other fandoms look "bad" because once again you're not in the fandom and ONLY see the negative posts.

so instead of creating another thread about how a specific fandom sucks which is filled with nothing but behaviors that every fandom does take a moment to realize how distorted your viewpoint is
