This is the first year since I was 13 that I haven't had a track season as part of my daily life. First as a competitor then as a coach.

It's strange not having something that serves as your anchor for the time of year and the day of the week.
A lot of us are without things that served as anchors for our days, months, and years. It's a difficult adjustment, but a nice reminder to find items and activities that can anchor us in the short term.
Whether that's a daily walk/run, a movie night, or a regular time to check in with friends and family.

Finding some way to differentiate & anchor our time and place is beneficial to our mental health.
I started splitting my 'work' days into working on different projects: coaching, writing, podcasting.

Just as I would have known it was Monday because we were doing a hard interval session.
Try to bring some semblance of normalcy, something to anchor where you are and what you are doing. And something to prevent the days from all blending together into a jumbled pandemic mess.
