I've spent this entire week gathering food supplies at LAUSD Grab & Go spots!
Many of these locations have an excess of food leftover, and I've been redistributing them to the homeless locally

After gathering supplies, preparing with hand sanitizer, gloves, & face masks
I start with a local homeless settlement
ask everyone if they need food, & provide them with a bag each, more if they ask
Settlement is right next to an abandoned building, undergoing gentrification

had a recent request for a blanket which I delivered the next day
gave extra food to a pregnant woman, she has to be at least 8 months along

LA has the infrastructure & $ to do some about this but theyve focused their efforts on ensuring 
& parking enforcement continue targeting working class ppl thru expensive fines during a pandemic when no one is working
