Happy #AutismAcceptanceDay and #AutismAcceptanceMonth everyone!!! Autism may make us use our minds differently but that really makes unique and special and stand out-I'm proud to be an autistic being
Now just to make some very important points here...

-I don't support Autism Speaks anymore. And neither should you.
They're a hate group pivoting on the CURE for autism, treating it like it's a disease, they advocate to euthanize autistic people (!!!!) and they silence people who speak up to them (hypocrites) #AutismAcceptance

-Do NOT use the puzzle piece to represent us. A puzzle piece implies that a part of us is missing when in reality our autism IS our puzzle piece and if that gets removed we're not who we are

-Don't use blue to represent us. It sucks cause blue is my favorite color and I think it's a nice color for us too but considering Autism Speaks has pioneered that...yeaaaah
Sorry not gonna "light it up blue" for something that shows hate. Wear red instead! #AutismAcceptance

-Hans Asperger was a Nazi. Don't look up to him. Nuff said #AutismAcceptance

-This is only something new I found out but "awareness" isn't cool to use for us anymore. Makes it sound like a disease when it really isn't
Acceptance sits right because we're being accepted into a normal society #AutismAcceptance

-Do not use high-functioning or low-functioning terms because it makes some autistic people feel they have less of a voice, while others feel their challenges aren't taken as seriously cause they are seen as "normal"

-OK last thing, please use this symbol instead of puzzle pieces or blue hearts, this is what REALLY represents us
It shows that autism comes in all different forms, it should never be regulated to one thing. And that's what makes us so special #AutismAcceptance
