I fully support NHS frontline workers, but there is something crucial being missed when we applaud them. We are forgetting A: the system as a WHOLE which is dealing with this ongoing crisis, and B: Public Health, who do SO much in the face of this ongoing crisis.
They’re ALL on a front line, but they’re not wearing scrubs so you don’t see them. So maybe we should all be applauding people who work across all the facets of healthcare, Public Health, pharmacists, the people you might not think of when considering what makes the NHS tick.
If there are other parts of the NHS/healthcare system that I’ve missed or am not thinking of, then maybe reply here and mention them.

Every part of the system should be seen and acknowledged for everything they’re struggling to deal with as this goes on.
I have just realised that the first tweet of this thread is incredibly badly-worded, so I feel like I’ve spent the rest of it trying to make up for that.
