you’re tired. it’s been a long day. you’re stressed, upset, hungry, exhausted, and about to break down crying. you walk in through the front door, immediately plopping down on the couch.
“how was work, my love?” your partner asks, coming over to greet you.

this brings a wild smile to your face. knowing that someone cares about you feels so good.
