Hi friends. I know that a lot of you may not have been able to see the Final Alliance special feature from the Target exclusive for #TheRiseOfSkywalker, so I wanted to share a few cool screen caps of my favorite parts.

First up, the full size, built to scale Y-wing! It was the first full scale build since ANH. @thomasLharper and @spaceshipsporn this is for you guys!

Following the tricks used in ANH, this is a cut out of a B-wing that is painted to look like it is really fully built. They used the same trick for the engines on the Blockade Runner in the Resistance Base too.

Speaking of the CR90 corvette, the reviewed the original model from the OT when building the full scale set for the film. This model is GORGEOUS and I'm glad they spent time using these originals to help inform what we saw on screen in TROS.

The video has a lot of old BTS footage from the OT. This one is a fav of mine, as we see HOME ONE and the Maker himself, George Lucas. Oh what I would give to walk among these models! Thankful I saw them in person back in 1993 up during an exhibit in SF!!!

A lovely piece of concept art that MIGHT be from the Treverrow version of the film. I think that is a fleet over Coruscant, but I can't tell for sure.

Concept art of the Battle of Exegol. Early concepts had it being a much brighter battle with warm tones. We saw this in the first trailer.

Great view on a few of those MC80A variants.

They actually designed the innards of a Star Destroyer to make the exploding/crashing ones look that much more realistic. I do love watching these wedges torn to shreds, well done ILM!

Various color markings for the Resistance B-wings and X-wings were used too!

HOLDO MANUEVER over the Forest Moon of Endor might not make sense, but I guess Beaumont was proven right!

I will end this thread the way ANH began. With a gorgeous shot of the Rebel Blockade Runner, aka CR90 Corellian Corvette.
