Boy I don’t know what it is about this shutdown but my imposter syndrome has been dialed up to like 100 for the last couple weeks

I don’t feel like I’m good at my job, and I also am not feeling appreciated in my job. But I know I’m not the only one where I work doing 2-3-4 people’s jobs in addition to my own, so I don’t have room to complain.

Hearing about friends doing great projects and getting job interviews while I have meetings in which I am told higher ups don’t understand the purpose of my biggest projects is brutal. I’m so happy for my friends, but it feels like self pity is suffocating that.
