Psychological Theory of Everything™

Thread:

1. D/t randomness and chaos, humans/minds, need to be multidimensional and need to be in a constant state of flux and re-balancing in order to achieve homeostasis/optimal system monitoring. 1/4
2. Humans/minds necessitate "other" or outside inputs to maintain homeostasis, much like our bodies need outside nutrients/stimulation to survive. We are naturally in a state of self-other conflict to perpetuate existence b/c other is unknown and unpredictable. 2/4
3. The necessity for both consonance and conflict leaves us existentially lost and without a basic sense of security or certainty. If we we're too certain we would die, too uncertain our ego would dissolve, ergo we live in fear. 3/4
4. Fear drives us towards certainty, but too much certainty risks loss and homeostasis imbalance due to unknowns. Therefore, fear is our driving force, and love (etc. idealisms) are reactions to fear as a means of managing our psychosocial homeostasis 4/4
All criticism, memes, .gifs, and disagreement is welcomed and needed.
Another thought, if dynamic opposition allows us to make fine changes successfully and operate in a nuanced way, then we need to have a mild push-pull approach to satisfying/coping with our fear driven desires or choices. We need a progressive/gradual iterative process.
@EPoe187 @PsychRabble @DocGrawitch @SincerelyData @ETVPod @lastpositivist would be curious of your thoughts here. I know it's a "galaxy brain" thought.
A "psychoepistemology" ?
