WHAT HAS HAPPENED IN THE PAST MONTHS? A THREAD.
As you all know, Germany and Italy declared the war to USA. And so did Japan. But, why japan?

The Japanese made clear to the world that they wanted to expand their territories. When they sized French Indonesia in 1941, the US froze all the Japanese funds in
the USA and stopped the sale of oil. These actions angered the Japanese and on December 7, 1941, they launched an attack on Pearl Harbor.

But, what was exactly “Pearl Harbor”?
Pearl Harbor was a offensive militar attack that did the Japanese to the USA navy
That caused to USA to declare the war to Japan, which created a WHOLE WAR.
To fight their way toward Japan the allies developed an strategy called “island hoping”, where them forces took only the most important islands. The Japanese confronted that at the Battle of Leyte Golf, the largest naval battle in the history.
Two of the war’s fiercest battles occurred on Japan’s outer islands early in 1945. About 6,800 americans died and a thousand defenders on Japan were taken prisoners.
Beggining in April an even deadlier battle was fought for Okinawa. Japanese used kamikazes (purposely crashing pilotes into enemy ships). They killed more than 4.000 Allied sailors. This battle lasted three months.
The Allies scientists had been working since 1942 on a secret program known as the Manhattan Project, which goal was to develop an ATOMIC BOMB. When Japanese leaders refused the Allie’s demand for an unconditional surrender, President Truman gave the order
to use the atomic bomb. On August 6, 1945, Enola Gray dropped an atomic bomb above the city of Hiroshima. The whole city was destroyed and burning. The explosion killed almost 8,000 people instantly. Thousands more died later from burns and radiation.
Japanese leaders still refused to surrender and the US forces dropped a second atomic bomb on the city of Nagasaki. 22,000 people died immediately.

The Japanese announced their surrender on August 15, 1945.
After 6 years World War II is finally over. National economics in Europe and Asia are devastated. As the strongest power left in the world, much of the responsibility for postwar rebuilding will probably fall to the USA.
We are all glad that this situation finally ended. We now that our way to be like we used to is difficult, but we all hope that the evolution will be awesome!
