The most baffling thing about $LK Luckin ☕️ is why did anyone think it was “too good to be true”? What was too good abt it? The losses? The insane marketing costs? Expansion into ultra competitive & saturated tea space? The weak coffee? The ads were well designed, is it that? 🤷🏻‍♀️
Anyway, I personally thought on @TechBuzzChina it was going to try to upend F&B, which would have been WAY more interesting. But, I guess the "We Are The Starbucks Killer" narrative was just way too easy to sell.
