My father died of Covid 19 this week. Many of us who will lose people in this pandemic cannot post about how wonderful they were. He caused much harm as a perpetrator of horrific family violence. But still, I grieve like a little girl who has lost her daddy.

I want to say a heartfelt thank you for the words people wrote to me here and the wisdom which is helping me negotiate such complex emotions. I have read and reread what you all wrote - I feel comforted and cared for. Thank you twitter community.
