You may have heard of an anti-trans hate-group called the LGBAlliance. Well it is applying for charitable status. It doesn't NEED charitable status, because it is just a paper-thin front entity for a small group of bigoted individuals. The application is a respectability play. >>
The thing is they expect their application to fail; their plan will be to get the Charity Commission's decision judicially reviewed. It will be another Maya Forstater-type attempt to get a court to legitimise transphobia. >>
The MFers want to keep chucking this stuff at the courts until it sticks, because when it does it will undermine the protections that trans people currently enjoy under the Equality Act 2010. So maybe consider making the litigation more likely to fail by signing this petition: >>

On the face of it the petition is to dissuade the CC from granting charitable status, but a load of signatures on this petition will also make an decision to that effect by the CC easier to defend when the MFers try to get it overturned in court.
(Only just realised that if you pluralise and then abbreviate the name of the aforementioned anti-trans litigant, by way of a metonymy, as I have done here, it has a double meaning LOL)
