Sadly yesterday my dad Terry Joy lost his fight against #COVID19 thankfully the staff at Alexandra Hospital ICU allowed me to sit with him for his last few hours, something I will be eternally grateful for. Dad was a larger than life character and will be missed by all his family

and friends. We can't thank the staff of @WorcsAcuteICU Alexander Hospital enough for everything they did allowing dad to pass with the dignity he deserved. The doctor in the ICU said it was like a war zone and we should all be thankfull for all the @NHS staff on the frontline

I have worn the Queen's uniform for 29 years and have deployed to the majority of sandpits to protect the liberty and freedom that the people of our great country enjoy, it saddens me that when the country asks something of those we protect that some choose to ignore the advice

and guidance of @GOVUK, for those that don't follow the advice this is what the end looks like. For those selfish individuals you are spreading this awful disease and are implicit in the deaths of many innocent indviduals, you have their blood on your hands #StayHomeSaveLives
