So I've watched a couple of Braga games, 4 to be specific, to see Trincão. That's not enough for me to draw any conclusions but I have an idea of who/what he is. So here are my two cents

Thread
Trincão plays mainly RW, atleast from the games I've watched although Sofascore & Transfermarkt also suggest he plays CF & LW as well (can't confirm).

He's comfortable operating very wide and keeping width but also drifts into the half space between the lines to receive...

His main attributes are:

- Dribbling (2.1 successful dribbles per game + highest dribble success rate in the league with 70%)
- Playmaking (11 big...

...chances created, 3 assists, 1.3 key passes per game)
- Also has an eye for goal with 6 goals in the league at a scoring frequency of 127 mins per goal (which is the 3rd highest in the league)

Trincão comes across as being a very hungry player with great work rate.

...rate can work against him as he can sometimes be guilty of pressing prematurely and vacating the space unnecessarily. But that naivety is understandable, almost expected, for a player his age.

When he does join, I hope we exclusively use him at RW as I think his...

...over reliance on his left foot would hinder him at LW. I'm curious to know that when he does play at CF (according to Sofascore & Transfermarkt) whether he's a traditional 9 or a false 9 as I think his skillset would allow him to play as a false 9.

His link up play and positional understanding makes him a very exciting prospect especially in the Barça scope and model.

I hate to do this but for sake of giving people are better understanding, I'd probably compare Trincão to Bernardo Silva.

His an exciting prospect with a lot of potential but also a lot of room to grow. I'd love to see him stay with the first team but a loan move would also do him a lot of good to build that experience he lack as he still only has league 7 starts to his name (23 games in total)

If anybody who has watched more games of him than I have wants to weigh in, correct me if I made a mistake or add on to what I said, you're more than welcome to.
