l o o n a v e r s e : theory dome

i think i’ve finally gathered enough courage to start talking about my theories that involve the loonaverse.

SO: just as a table of contents.

TIMELINE

when i first viewed the mvs in order of release, i noticed there were numbers in the corner of the videos that were a part of the canon. using this, i figured out that those marked with (12) were a part of the main story. those marked with (15) take place at-

-different time. even though it is marked (15), most if not all take place before the canon of the videos marked (12). i mainly used this logic to piece together a timeline, which starts with OEC.

so, jinsoul and kim lip both have videos marked (15), and OEC has one: Sweet Crazy Love. according to the description of SCL, it’s a pre-story to the creation of OEC. jinsoul’s and kim lip’s mvs are also pre-stories.

both Hi High and So What are also stories that come before LOONA coming together and forming a group, but i’ll discuss those a bit later.

just as a recap so far, the universe starts with OEC finding out their powers and stuff like that. remember, this is only PRE-STORY. it technically starts with them. next, i’ll tackle LOONA 1/3 and their bit of the timeline.

here’s where it really starts. ViViD is the starting point of the story, where heejin is introduced. she meets hyunjin and they become really good friends in I’ll Be There. then, haseul and yeojin get introduced in their mvs.

so then, heejin met hyunjin, became friends, the like. together, they met haseul and yeojin, but yeojin got lost in the midst of it all. vivi also found jinsoul in a basement, so we know jinsoul is on earth. more evidence as to why her mv has to be before.

1/3 is formed, one part of the möbius strip. i’ll discuss that later but they are. they sing a love spell (sonatine) and create a forest within the universe. the mv for sonatine isn’t important, only the description.

this is where the timeline gets a bit confusing. choerry is introduced, and she teleported from the mid world to earth where jinsoul found her (that mirror scene). she teleports to the opposite side of the möbius, which is why the grass turned purple.

so choerry is now on earth, kim lip also then travels to earth and they make girl front, which completes their circle. the mv shows möbius strip references, also hyunjin makes an appearance with clothes identical to choerry’s and a mirror.

so now that 1/3 and OEC are on earth, there are still the girls born in eden: yyxy. eden is an interesting concept that all of yyxy have defied and get exiled to earth where they gain a sense of right and wrong.

when regarding yyxy, i think love4eva comes first. it establishes that yyxy know each other, and that olivia is the last to leave, while the other three go and get exiled. the woman in the video is supposedly god, who congratulates olivia hue for not leaving.

that is until she does leave, and she fell towards earth. olivia hye was found by yves, and it seems as if she’s having dreams/flashbacks about encountering OEC. she killed the other version of herself with fire. legit.

(that was egoist btw). now we know yves was the first to fall, followed by chuu who just wanted to be loved by yves . gowon was next, and she was basically trying to let go of eden and leave in her mv. that was great.

yves’ video also featured vivi, while chuu’s featured haseul. for these instances, vivi found yves on earth, and haseul, who might represent an invisible force, only woke chuu up and she realized self love.

(also the color of the apple chuu had was green and that’s haseul’s color, so it might’ve been calling her to save chuu.)

so as a recap: yves fell first and enlightened her friends through apples to eat their respective fruits. once they did that, they all went down to earth and reunited again. the whole of loona join in Hi High, the möbius strip is complete but it isn’t strong enough.

now that the moon they’ve been dreaming about is complete, they only have a set time before they can make sure the möbius strip is strong enough. for what, i’m not sure yet, but my best guess is a new universe of music. they all met in Hi High, so favOriTe is next.

favOriTe is their first attempt at making a stronger möbius strip. it’s mostly unsuccessful, for no one is shown being affected by the music. however, Butterfly has a better impact. i’ll explain the concepts of LOONAs and Orbits next.

side note time!

LOONAs are people who are affected by their music is the loonaverse. because it’s an alternate universe, orbits are the fans of loona in OUR universe. the loonaverse is separate from ours, but their music reaches us.

where So What is in the timeline, i’m not sure. i think it’s before Hi High, because the description says that heejin met olivia hye. also, loona burn their fake personas, or shed their skin and become their true selves in the mv. STREAM IT!!!

for future comebacks, i’ll add them in with the same TIMELINE header, but for the sake of this thread and my dumb bitch tendencies, i’ll move on to discussing möbius strip later.
