Maybe I’ve been lucky or prepared or I just don’t eat a bunch of garbage, but I’ve found everything I’ve needed as far as food.
We’ve found our favorites at Trader Joe’s and found dry goods, booze, and flour at Costco on Monday flour. I have veggies, fruit, and organic eggs delivered weekly. We get our alkaline water from a local well, but I saw plenty of water at Costco this week, too.
What I HAVEN’T found are Cup Noodles and Top Ramen. That’s probably a good thing.
I guess what I’m getting at is... I’m not special. I mean I AM, but markets aren’t rolling out the red carpet for Sugar Jones. So why are so many people freaking out about not finding shit?
I understand food deserts, but I’m seeing people in places that are similarly served as my area who are freaking the fuck out. Is it that they’re not finding the hoarding levels of food they want? I’m confused...
Rereading this thread and I think I should clarify...

There are people on Facebook in my area who are losing their minds over not finding stuff and I’m not sure if it’s that they’re just not able to stock for 18 months or if they really “can’t find anything.”

Okay then.
