CW: angst no happy ending Kacchako
The sky was a miserable grey, over cast, suiting for the venture that lied ahead. A bitter breeze swept past, causing Katsuki to shiver as his heavy boots drug through the sodden grass. He fisted the bouquet tighter, a reflex to keep the wind from snatching it from his fingers.
A forlorn exhale did nothing to placate the rapid pace of his thoughts.

The closer he came to his destination the harder he chewed the inside of his cheek to stamp back violent emotions that threatened the bubble up and consume him.
Another chill rising on the air around him, he shifted the bundle in his right arm tucking it closer to his chest.

“Well here goes nothing Mochi.” A small heartsick sort of smile tugged his lips.

A grave marker, a sign that a life have been taken, a future stolen. The tears stung in the cold air as the slid down his cheeks.
He had a whole speech written of all the things he wanted to say, the things he /needed/ to say in hopes of find some kind of closure.
