ONCE UPON A TIME, there were 10 guys who lived in the same house. And for the first few weeks of living together, they had trouble with managing their meals because they would end up spending way too much individually. So, they decided to come up with a plan where they would...
pool their money together and assign someone to plan and budget all their meals. They gave this responsibility to Joe, their most charismatic housemate. Some of the housemates were against choosing Joe as the head of the household, but he eventually was chosen since...
most of the household were in agreement that Joe should be assigned the position. Now, all was well and good until some of the housemates felt like they weren’t getting their money’s worth. Some felt like the menu kept leaning towards Joe’s personal preferences....
While some felt like the food being served was not a par with the amount of money being pooled together.

Now some of the housemates who were initially supportive of Joe being chosen as the head of the household started to have second thoughts. While those who were...
opposed from the get-go started becoming a lot more vocal.

Joe, upon hearing about all the unrest stirring up within the house, decided to put up a sign that said this:
IF ANYONE GOES AGAINST MY DECISIONS REGARDING THE FOOD AND IS VOCAL ABOUT IT, I WILL ASK MY FRIENDS TO BEAT YOU UP AND LOCK YOU IN YOUR ROOM.

Love lots,
Joe
Naturally, some of the housemates reacted angrily. But Joe's supporters always responded with:

"Why don't you become Head of Household?"
"If you don't speak up against Joe, there's nothing to worry about!"
"You really should try to understand the context of his announcements."
And in spite of all this, John (a room leader who had extra money saved up) decided to buy food for himself and his roommates. But Joe got angry because according to him, "John was overstepping his boundaries as room leader".

This led to more disputes being raised...
questions being asked, and insults being thrown.

Now, Joe's friends are getting ready to, in essence, "fight those who endanger the safety of the other tenants"

But with their track record of coming up with any excuse to beat up people they don't like, the others are very wary
Now I don't really know how the household will recover from this, since this whole thing is still going on. But I do know one thing:

As long as those living in that house continue to argue without having a proper, substantial conversation, people are going to go hungry.
THE END.
