Bodie (after the ghost town) was feral & had 2 broken legs when I found her. She spent the first few weeks perched on the edge of my box spring, hiding between the bed & the wall. She came out for marbles.

It was potentially going to cost $8,000 to attempt to fix the ligament in one of her legs, with a slim chance of recovery and an expected eventual amputation. We splinted her and she somehow made a full recovery. She’s my miracle cat.
