So y'all know I love my #HorrorFamily for a bunch of reasons. Feeling a little frustrated about other stuff today and got reminded of something good. I've never understood symbolism or subtext very well. I joke about it but there've also been a lot if times I felt really dumb. 1/

I mentioned it in a thread with @HaileyPiperSays about her stellar piece about nostalgia, and her response, along the lines of, it's not that important, really struck me, made me feel less of an outcast. Then discussing social commentary with @JamesSabata and @donguillory 2/

On the http://Necronomi.com , i felt like I wasn't missing everything, that I could participate. And talking poetry with @shanedkeene and @horrorbookshelf , I felt like I was really getting it for the first time. It seems small, but to me it's big, a missing piece found. 3/

So anyway, roundabout and rambling, it's another reason I'm grateful for y'all. You teach me, and you help me find the missing pieces, which is especially important right now. Love and bourbon
