Canceling the rest of the school year would also mean teachers stop getting paid. Middle class parents would find ways to continue educational enrichment while poorer students would fall further behind /2

Many districts are handing out free laptops with free internet connections. Promote and support those programs if you want to ensure poorer students have access to education right now
