Takeaways from the Ballad press conference:

1) Folks who visited the Hawkins County Memorial Hospital between March 21-30 should monitor for COVID-19 symptoms because a fourth team member has tested positive there.
2) Ballad announced the second death in the region, a Sullivan County man in the 51-60 age range.
3) Ballad officials will have more information on what they plan to do with furloughs on Tuesday.
4) Ballad has received the necessary components to begin in-house testing. Right now, they can do about 50 tests per day with 4-7 hours of turnaround time for results. They are still awaiting equipment that will boost that to 400 tests per day.
5) Ballad is working with Tennessee and Virginia to suspend the COPA. There is a provision in the certificate that allows for this. Levine said the health system remains under supervision despite this. Tennessee's Dept. of Health and AG have approved this.
6) Within the next 24 hours, Greeneville Community Hospital West will be emptied of other services in preparation for use as surge capacity.
7) A Greeneville doctor, Dr. Daniel Lewis, has tested positive for COVID-19. It was a "confirmed contact." Dr. Lewis didn't have any exposure to patients, Levine said, and limited contact to other team members because of the PPE they were wearing.
8) They also announced the resterilization of N-95 masks, which boosts PPE capacity at Ballad and opens the door for Ballad to share their supply with other physician groups.
