The area 450 sqm, that our chicken friend shared is a decent area, I think 4 families can eat out of this area for a the entire year and generating some sales.
There is not much thinking when it comes to what to plant, you just plant what you eat and you buy in groceries.
At any case you can’t cover all products, then start prioritizing what do you eat more and write down on your notebook. Keep notebook on you.

Now that you list down what do you want to plant, it’s time to segregate into families:
Allium : Garlic,Onions
Solanacea family: Eggplant,Bell pepper, Potatoes,Tomatoes…
Brassica: Broccoli, Cabbage,Cauliflower,Radish,Spinach
Cucurbit:Cucumbers, Melon,Pumpkin
Legume: Beans,peas
The plants of each family are grouped and to be planted in the same bed for easier rotation next year.
What is bed ? keep reading
You can grow up to 3 crops in the same garden if scheduled properly.
Quick growing vegs spinach, lettuce and other greens can be planted late winter in Leb., once Warm arrives the make bitter taste, these can be removed to feed then use the space to grow beans, once beans finished a fall crop of spinach, lettuce and other cool season are planted
Going back to plan your garden,
So you have the blank garden as our friend shared and the list of plants you want to grow. Depends on your priority you should approach the map of your garden beds.
We call beds masekbe, you draw your beds on your blank diagram giving space per priority, leave passage between beds on your map, for you to harvest, water, maintain your grow.
For example, we buy lots of canned tomato sause, salsa, winter expensive fresh tomato. So tomato, bell peppers, onions, garlic and some herbs are necessities in garden space. Begin with these crops, plot out on your map where they will be planted. Then, move to other crops
Step1: Make a Sketch garden showing dimensions of your garden beds
2Refer to your list of plants and arrange the crops
3 start plotting your Garden with the crops you consider important
4 Move on to crops that need trellis supports. Remember tall plants are to be planted on the north side of your beds, so sun can reach the other plants
5 Fill in your map with short seasoned crops, explained above
6 Remember note down on your notebook all records for future use
You also need to strictly consider winter storage of your yield, suck up all of it, with wide variety of products that you can make out of each crop. Make Sauce, Salca, Pickles, Herbs, Freeze for soup, use your imagination, cook out what you like to EAT.
Here is an example of what your map should look like before you plant. I hope this covers somehow home gardening, comment your questions if you have, I anser all
