I sincerely don’t have an issue with a major publisher giving a book deal to Saira. I don’t fret about who does and does not “get a platform”.

I have not liked Saira’s twitter posts (to say the least) but they’re so transparently nutty I havnt even been that bothered by them.

I suppose we should watch carefully to see if folks like Warren try to build partnerships with Saira. But I doubt any major dem will use full Saira ideology in their platform.

My participation in the culture war is not to shut down those I disagree with, but rather to contribute my own disagreement. Freedom of speech does not mean freedom from criticism and I’ll continue to offer mine.
