For instance, the word "Senator" relates to the Latin word for "old man," Senex. Saturn is also the old man. Our senators, for example, function as the nation's board of directors for what laws go and stay in effect. This happens at levels.

This is why those who are heading into their 60s after their 2nd Saturn Return, are reaching, really, a kind of prime. They both have the experience to understand more the structures that inform them & can usually help shape what happens to others.

This is why there are often more older people on the board of directors of companies, in positions of government, teaching professions, etc. The crowning comes with a responsibility to look out for the culture/society/community as a caretaker, of sorts.

Similarly, this may also be when many creatives reach a certain peak. They may not necessarily create their best work, but they're better able to understand their work and even teach what has been the basis of their work.

It's also possible, like Picasso, to offer re-creations of the works of others with your own style and insight. The battle for the Self is largely over and now it becomes more establishing your own legacy and even homage to the culture/community/society that created you.

That's not to embrace death or even dying. As much as, ideally, to have enough clarity to know how to do better what you may have been trying to do all along.
