Yesterday, we received confirmation that students and recent graduates are not currently eligible for the Canada Emergency Response Benefit. This morning, I sent an updated email to federal ministers asking them to extend coverage to this group in need.

We have lots of positive momentum on this campaign. I have interviews lined up today with CTV National, Yahoo Canada, HuffPost, and the National Observer.

I have also been in touch with Parliamentary Secretary for Diversity and Inclusion and Youth, @vankayak, who wants to help. It's important that we keep up the pressure, keep sharing and keep posting to show cabinet that this is an important issue that needs to be addressed.
