It's a different thing to fast it's another to be hungry because there is no food in the house. The lockdown is going to be very harsh on poor Nigerians. There is death in the house (hunger) and death in the street (Coronavirus)!
While I may decide to fast to tune up my spiritual life or reduce the yeye stomach, some have no choice, fast (hunger strike) they must as there is no food to eat as a result of the lockdown
@followlasg thanks for the help rendered do far but please, do not relent. If the food requirements of these indigent communities are not met, there will be a spike in crime
Dear @NigeriaGov the buck stops at your desk. The soldiers are out to enforce the lockdown but you need to help the citizens live through the ordeal. Thanks for the conditional cash transfers but to tell you the truth? It is like water at the back of a duck!
Forget the fact that the youth (and adults) are shamelessly doing bambiala on social media, there is hunger in the land and it's time to face reality - WE need help.
Except God steps in or a vaccine is found, this problem isn't going no where and its painful we could have been spared this ordeal if we had the WILL to take a decisive decision earlier but no need crying over split milk, what is the way out?
While we seek to stop the spread by belatedly locking down the country now, please, do more with palliatives. Open the barns, reserves, customs lock ups and bring out food. Get men to go and and distribute..Do something
If you delay, again, and people get pushed to the wall...hmn....Our wins so far may eventually become great losses
