Soooo idk how many people are talking about this but college students definitely got robbed this semester of a lottttttt. Not saying that this issue needs priority over protecting healthcare workers as well as healing the sick, but eventually something needs to be done -

because as we all know, us college students had paid full tuitions and fees for a PHYSICAL class/ university experience (those with attention disorders/problems actually really depend on being IN the University environment in order to focus), and now with Covid-19 causing -

almost the entire nation's campuses to close down, this means everyone is resorting to Online classes. Now I understand this is probably okay for the majority of students, but for some of us it is INSANELY overwhelming and things so far have not been well. The very least we -

should be eligible to do is to get SOME of the money back that went towards our physical campus environments considering we are not even allowed to be on them anymore for who knows how long. At WVU the tuition literally rises every semester to pay for better vending machines. -

But now you mean to tell me that not a SINGLE college student (at least at WVU to my knowledge) is going to get any kind of refund from our tuitions?? EVEN with the fact that we have all been forced into Online courses that WILL affect performances and we ALL know it????

This is just disgusting treatment for people that are already giving so much money and time to pay for college. It's just digging us into deeper holes not to mention the majority of ALSO lost our jobs due to the virus.
Why can't the universities just keep what they need???

OH AND if you are a college student getting claimed by your parents you also don't qualify for the stimulus check ($1200 which could possibly cover a month or two of rent and give someone a chance to survive this $-wise) so there we get fucked by the government even more.

All im getting at here is that if you are a student in college right now you should be REALLY angry about all of this, because you have been fucking robbed. (PSA This thread does not take any kind of priority over healing the sick OBVIOUSLY im just talking about the future).
