thing 1: ammunition where. unless you’re gonna start milling your own, you still have a giant regulated problem before you’re siccing semper

thing 2: firearms are just not that hard to make in the first place. you don’t need a 3D printer to make thing go bang, you just need a machine shop and - again - ammunition

thing 3 is the really fatal one though, because it’s totally alien to the mindset that produces a 3D-printed firearm: gun control laws are often very popular with the people who live with them

it doesn’t matter if anyone can make this if none of their neighbours want them to and are totally on board with the cops driving a tank through their wall to stop them
