Still a lot of evidence needed on the impact of e-learning in sub-Saharan Africa and this study shows some promising evidence that better integrating technology into education has positive effects on learning outcomes in rural sub-Saharan Africa
The program focuses on community schools, which are common in rural Zambia; however, they are often staffed by untrained, underpaid teachers who lack access to quality lesson plans , management skills, and basic supplies
@Impact_Network implements a program that introduces a standardized e-learning curriculum with lesson plans for teachers and interactive lessons for students as well as frequent teacher coaching and professional development of teachers who come from the community
