A lot of guys trying to build an online income right now are starting out TOTALLY wrong.

By failing to niche down properly they're crippling themselves & messing up their businesses potential.

They will struggle to brand, get customers & most will fail because of this.

You need to niche down & get specific about what you do for THE CUSTOMER

Your brand isnt about you its about what you can do FOR THEM

Lately I've seen so many dudes get this wrong

Niches like "Mindset & hustle"

What?!

Look at others who've successfully niched down on twitter
Example 1: @realchasecurtis

Problem: "Your brand sucks and you have no customers."

Solution: "Branding & social media marketing will get you more customers & grow your business."

How: http://chiefonline.io
Example 2: @AJA_Cortes

Problem: "You're weak, too fat/too skinny, & lack aesthetics. It's unattractive, unhealthy & a liability."

Solution: "Build muscle, lose fat, become strong & aesthetic. You will be healthier, tougher & more attractive."

How: http://cortes.site
Example 3: @taylorburrowes

Problem: "Your relationships suck, you can't communicate properly and you're bad at dating."

Solution: "Better communication skills, more clarity about what you want & vetting will improve your love life & relationships"

How: http://drtaylorburrowes.com
Example 4: @tannerguzy

Problem: 'The way you dress communicates negatively about you. You look like a slob & low status.'

Solution: 'Find your style archetype & dress in a way that conveys positive traits, high status & makes you more attractive.'

How: http://masculine-style.com
Example 5: @iamRobONeill

Problem: "Your life is mediocre, you're broke and you feel trapped."

Solution: "Build a better future for yourself & achieve financial freedom with a location independent online business."

(Excuse me if I have mischaracterized anyone's brand/business. These descriptions are a VERY loose interpretation of each brands message to highlight examples who have niched down effectively. If you are unhappy with this please DM me.)
You need to choose a specific area to focus on.

For example, you wouldn't choose "Fitness" or "Marketing". These are too broad & unspecific.

You might choose "Muscle gain for skinny fat people" or "Lead generation for SAAS companies". There is clear value in these fields.
Then you need to get extremely clear about:

What is your brands value proposition.
What problem are you solving for your market.
What benefits working with you will provide.
Why should people buy from you specifically.
What results will you deliver for them.
Some more general brand examples to help you niche down:

Lyft:

1. Get from point A to point B
2. Local on demand transport at short notice
3. Low cost, low wait times, direct to destination
4. Immediate response
5. Comfort. Privacy. Cleanliness. Safety. Ease. Speed. Etc.
Evernote:

1. Keep track of everything
2. Organize all your notes in one place
3. Easily archive, manage tasks & stay organized
4. Accessible anywhere
5. Permanent. Secure. Online. Shareable. Can't be lost. Etc.
Zapier:

1. Automate workflows simply
2. Connect apps & services that otherwise wouldn't work together
3. Time saved, ease of use, efficiency, reduced frustration, no code
4. Integrate everything
5. Ease. Speed. Simplicity. Automation. Etc.
Hopefully this helps you niche down, find a better niche for your brand or get clearer about what it is your brand has to offer.
