1/ Today is @woodra's birthday.

She is not only my friend, but a powerhouse health care advocate and most importantly, one the greatest mothers I have ever met.

2/ I met @woodra in DC during summer of 2017, while we were both fighting to #SaveTheACA & #Medicaid.

I felt like a fish out of water. I was not local to DC, driving a 5-6 hour round trip each day & far below the income level of my fellow advocates.

I couldn't quite fit in.

3/ One day, our group split off into pairs to deliver materials to Senate offices & I was paired w/ Rebecca for the first time.

She made a comment about her credit score and I think I responded with something like, "Wait, you're poor, too??"

I no longer felt so alone.

4/ Rebecca spends her days and nights taking care of Charlie while fighting for the health care of EVERYONE.
