George, my father in law & gardener in crime lost his long battle with cancer & short battle with COVID-19. grateful we were with him to end & he knew he was loved by all his children, grandchildren & great grand children

the staff at the hospice @StLukesHospice were amazing tbh caring is utterly exhausting I’ll shoot anyone who ever calls it unskilled
Grandad George joined the navy at 15. he could recite poems/rhymes for every occasion & subject. he was well read, of fussy prose he often say ‘so much to admire, so little to enjoy’. This was his favorite, which has to be read with a Yorkshire accent
