Absolutely a hectic day. Yesterday was the first day of my new job in the same company. An exciting and challenging role. Received a new ID and email address. A new beginning. The first login was successfully made with the help of local IT team. But,..
the real problem began on the second day (today). Since we've been WFH, we have to use our own wifi. That's when cloud apps will help you. Cloud security platform ensures a fast, secure user experience. It'll improve performance and latency, and simplify network administration.
My problem is simple. I was not able to connect with any cloud apps or Cisco. Thus I couldn't access none of my company systems and portals. Since I'm a newbie, I've a lot to catch up on. My mentor wasn't able to guide me through online because of the network issue.
If we face any IT related issues, then we have to contact our IT specialists, and most of them are from overseas. An Indian guy started to guide me and lead me to a certain extend. But, he couldn't proceed further due to the complex network issues.
The second person-in-charge was a girl, Chennai Ponnu. Very cool, calm and sharp. She managed to identity few alternative solutions but nothing seemed to work. All the attempts failed miserably and we were back to square one. I was very pissed off and gave up. But, she didn't.
Actually, she found an easy solution but she didn't reveal anything about it. We can solve this by getting back to office and connect my laptop with office wifi. As simple as that. But, she didn't want/allow me to go to office. Said it's a "sappe matter" just to cool me down.
Meanwhile she was figuring out a solution. A complete stranger and we didn't even realize that we are sharing same mother tongue. It took approximately 6 hours (yeah, almost one whole working day) to solve my network issue. When we were about to pull it off, she told me,...
"Ungge issues solve pannittena, I'll be the happiest person today". Every suffering will teach you something. Patience is my lesson. This time I received a gift from suffering. It gave me a friend. MCO truly blessed me with quite a number of new friends.

Sorry for the interval break in between. Amma was forcing me to have my dinner. Okay, let me end this thread with a very simple yet meaningful quote.
Everyday is a blessing.
வாழ்வோம்; வாழ்விப்போம்
Everyday is a blessing.
வாழ்வோம்; வாழ்விப்போம்
