You will receive TWO instalments. One is your regular credit on Apr 3 (amount varies), the second is a one-time emergency credit on Apr 9 (about $375, may vary not sure) https://twitter.com/CanRevAgency/status/1245496136263184386">https://twitter.com/CanRevAge...
As of Mar 15, all EI applications are being processed as CERB applications. https://twitter.com/CanRevAgency/status/1245521054191280133">https://twitter.com/CanRevAge...
No. As a matter of fact start NOW. A support worker on the Service Canada COVID hotline explained that since approvals are delayed, you should have your 1st report already done. You won’t be paid without a report.
Yes. The sooner you report, the sooner you will be able to view your weekly CERB rate. It is higher than the 55% from EI. Many have already had their weekly rates increased to $500 this week: https://twitter.com/beth1814/status/1245375177338179589">https://twitter.com/beth1814/...
Yes. EVERYONE that qualifies for it gets $2000 a month, no more no less. https://twitter.com/servicecanada_e/status/1245773309704376321">https://twitter.com/serviceca...
No. However it is taxable and the income tax has not been taken out for you. This means next year when you file your taxes, you will need to pay the income tax from your CERB. Please keep this in mind.
No, just a surprise. Your 1st payment is actually back pay for the weeks you didn& #39;t work. Weeks are counted from sun-mon, so you might have received between $500-$2K. Your second payment is CERB ($2K) for April.
Yes & no. It’s not a glitch, you were only supposed to apply to one. Since you were automatically approved for both, you WILL need to pay back the $2K from CERB immediately because you DO NOT qualify for it. https://twitter.com/canrevagency/status/1247531564348534790">https://twitter.com/canrevage...

Yes you are the first scenario. This means you got CERB for the month of April, as well as $500 for each week of March you didn& #39;t work. Please verify that it adds up!
